Hi. My name is Brad and I'm glad that you're here!
I've spent over 15 years in business. Over the years, I've had the pleasure of working for a variety of well-known brands including Green Mountain Coffee Roasters ®, L.L.Bean, Nike, Eastern Mountain Sports, and Bolton Valley Ski Area.
The past two years, I've put this experience to use with a freelance small-business growth and design agency called Vocne.
Watching my wife begin her own small business and realizing that with a little help from the right people, talented entrepeneurs like her can successfully build strong, independent organizations that benefit our communities.
This page shows a few examples of my work. Every one of these assets was completed for a specific project or for a specific client.
Making videos has been one of my favorite endeavors and I love it when a client has video needs! Of these four examples, two are for my wife's practice MVL Wellness and the other two are exerpts from compilation projects that I made from old VHS tapes from the 80s and 90s.
Here are some logos that I've designed for clients.
The Vocne logo is designed with our unique personalities intertwined. Firstly, the four-circle Venn diagram symbolizes our ability to combine a number of discliplines that are interwoven. It is overlaid with a weathered "V" to reflect our Victorian-era interests.
This logo was created for a massage therapy and reflexology studio. It blends the yin/yang of life, the Rod of Asclepius to symbolize health, and the tree pose atop of the staff for grounding.
This logo, designed for a shaving company, was created with versatility in mind. It incorporates both a logomark and logotype so that either can be used separately. It is a three color design with clean lines.
Battin Naturals is a company that will be providing a number of products with natural and organic ingredients. Using the Sanvito Pro font and illustrating a scene that is very growth-inspired, it visually communicates the "natural" message.
Admittedly, I'm not a photographer in the traditional sense. By that, I mean that I am able to take photos but they are usually for a web project, a blog, or other creative project. Here are a few examples of photos that have made it into projects over the years.

This coupon was created while at GMCR®. It was designed as a bounce-back coupon to be used at a local event.
Here is a version of the final proof for a road sign designed for MVL Wellness in Waterbury, VT.
This was a print flyer advertising health and wellness specials during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Here I designed a custom tent for MVL Wellness to be used at ourdoor events once the pandemic subsides.
